Our Story

Regis began with a dream from owners Ryan and Shirley, to create an event based catering company that could offer amazing food and events that would make people smile. They realised there was a gap in the market for high quality catering without the Michelin star price tag.

Regis started in 2003 with a passion for food and bringing people together. Since our inception, we have stayed true to this philosophy by gathering a group of likeminded professionals who are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Our journey has progressed as we invest in our workforce with a focus on continually improving our customer’s experience. Though our company ethos has remained grounded in our family values, with both of our founders still maintaining a crucial role in day to day operations.

We pride ourselves on using the best of Scottish produce to showcase the incredible larder which we have locally. For every event we cater, we aim to showcase the finest of Scottish produce, from local suppliers, who share our ethical and sustainable outlook.

With excellent produce and dedicated staff, we can guarantee an exceptional experience. Over the years we have gone the extra mile to help our customers experience memorable events for a large range of different styles of event, in a range of venues across Scotland and the North of England.

As we have seen Regis grow from strength to strength, we are determined not to forget our local community – we fully believe that all events should leave a positive impact on the customer, and in the local community. We are proud of our commitment to gift 10% of our company profits each year to a range of charitable causes; though are also committed to offer employment to those in our local community, regardless of their background.

After 21 years of trading, we can proudly look back at many successful events, which have showcased the best of local produce, been taken care of by exceptional people, and made a real difference on the lives of those in our local community.

Our People

Regis would not be the company it is today, without our incredible team. Our managing director, Ryan Longmuir, has taken a hands on approach within the business since day one. Ryan’s influence on the business, has helped cultivate a team of highly motivated and skilled staff, who have the customer’s best interests at heart. Our senior management team, have all started at junior positions within the business and worked their way to having a great understanding of how the business works, and how best to service our wide range of customers. In addition to this, we have 40 full time employees, and a further 100+ part time staff, who all bring a different level of experience of Scottish Hospitality.

We strongly believe in the passion and creativity of our team, who make our events extra special for our customers, from the point of enquiry up until point of service. We strive to ensure that all our staff feel like part of the family, with every member of our team having a voice in company development and practices.

Our Facilites

We are based in Cumbernauld with over 8000 sq ft of showroom, office accommodation, state of the art kitchen and warehouse space. When we purchased the building, it was an empty shell, but through many hours of liaising with planners, architect’s, food hygiene officers, builders and tradesmen’s we created the perfect space. This includes state of the art ovens, vacuum packers, blast chillers, walk in fridges, freezers and thousands of pots, pans and utensils. Along with our facility we have a fleet of refrigerated vans which allows us to deliver our magic across the UK.
