Giving Back
To The Community

Regis Banqueting, a sustainable Scottish catering company, was founded with the support of The Prince’s Trust and has always been committed to giving back to the community. Our founder, Ryan Longmuir, serves as an Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust and has had the honour of meeting Prince Charles on several occasions, even featuring in their national advertising campaigns (despite the photos!).

As a business, we pride ourselves on our involvement in our local community, and continue to take measures to ensure we are giving back as much as possible to local community groups and charities.

We donate 10% of our net profits to charity on an annual basis.  Including large donations to Mary’s Meals, Compassion UK and Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus – causes close to the hearts of many in our team.

We help rehabilitation of ex-offenders through Street Connect with support of individuals in their transition into the world of work.

We recruit university students from Edinburgh Napier and Glasgow Caledonian University on paid internships to help with learning job experience and often offer full time roles post this.

We support annually two local youth teams Cumbernauld Colts and St Aloysius Rugby team, allowing additional opportunities to their pupils.

On an annual basis we provide over 200 festive meals to local care homes and sheltered accommodation facilities.

We partner with Dundee Utd Community Trust to provide festive meals to 300 disadvantaged households in Dundee.

Food items and produce not required are donated to local organisations, including Inspire Housing Development, Cumbernauld Resilience and Social Bite.

As proud members of Entrepreneurial Scotland, we aim to make Scotland the most entrepreneurial country in the world. We actively participate in events that inspire young people to pursue their business ambitions, emphasizing the power of work to transform both personal lives and the world around us. Our outreach includes schools, colleges, business conferences, and prisons.

Each year, a portion of our profits is donated to support the following impactful charities:

Mary’s Meals: A Scottish charity providing one hot meal each day to 1.1 million children worldwide.

Compassion UK: Supporting children globally with access to education, food, and clothing. Regis sponsors a young girl in Mexico.

Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBHS): Offering lifelong support and information to individuals affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus. In 2010, Ryan climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, and in 2016, he ran the London Marathon to raise funds for SBHS.

At Regis Banqueting, we also prioritize social responsibility by offering employment opportunities for ex-offenders and collaborating with local suppliers, ensuring we support both the community and sustainable practices.
